How it all started...
In 1967, under the vision and leadership of Pastor Horace Wilkens, Nipigon Baptist Church was established. Born out of a love for people and a heart for the Gospel, for the past 56 years Nipigon Baptist Church has endeavoured to be a faithful witness for Jesus on the North Shore of Lake Superior.
Expanding the vision...
We hope that as we move into the future we will see God expand His kingdom as we serve our communities through youth ministry, food bank, and Sunday services.
Where we are headed...
We hope to see people come to faith in Jesus, be baptized, and follow Jesus with their lives. We hope to see the great commission multiplied through those who follow Jesus. We believe God is always working, and we see it as a joy and privilege to serve Jesus whenever and whenever opportunity arises.
